The Retail Design and Merchandising Group provides a globally focused education, with an emphasis on allowing students to develop their creative and analytical skills into a progressive retail perspective.  Our vision is to establish the Retail Design and Merchandising Group as an internationally recognized center for retail education and research, and as a program focused on preparing graduates to be the next generation of retail industry leaders.

The educational focus of the Retail Design and Merchandising Group is a rigorous academic experience in which students build their knowledge of every aspect of the retail cycle: customer analysis and profiling, sourcing, product design and development, manufacturing, visual and store merchandising, brand concepting, sales and service strategies, and end-user applications.
