A laptop computer is strongly recommended.
All IU students have free access to Adobe CS4 and students from the 2nd year forward will need to use Photoshop and Illustrator.
Color scanning and printing are available for use at various facilities across campus.
Department Sponsored Scholarships
Students are recognized for their academic excellence and service to the university community through departmental awards made possible through the generosity of dozens of corporate and individual benefactors who recognize the value of supporting the next generation of design, retail and fashion industry leaders.
This annual day long event features top executives and retail industry leaders, speaking on issues of relevance to retail and design, providing students with the most current insight.
Career Development Center Internship Fair
The IU Internship Fair connects students with employers and recruiters offering internships. Hosted by IU's Career Development Center and Arts & Sciences Career Services.
Partnerships with Industry
We have developed a relationship with, and received industry software from, the internationally respected design and product development software company, Lectra. Our students have access to Lectra-Kaledo training through a departmental elective course in a university computer lab.
